Clinical-Psychological Diagnostics

A detailed diagnosis consists of interviews and psychological tests. A report is drawn up which includes recommendations, your competencies and possible diagnoses.

EXCEPTION : Diagnostics for gender incongruence / trans*identity. These are given priority and I will try to find an appointment as soon as possible.

Clinical-psychological diagnostics

Clinical psychological diagnostics systematically examine and evaluate a person's psychological, emotional and behavioral problems. It involves gathering information through conversations, standardized tests, observations and questionnaires in order to determine the current psychological state and possible causes and triggers of disorders. The aim is to make a well-founded diagnosis and to derive targeted therapeutic measures from this.

Process:

  • anamnesis and exploratory interview

  • psychological test

  • discussion of findings

  • Duration: depending on the question 3-5 units

suitability assessment for clinical psychologists

suitability assessment according to § 9 PG

According to the new Psychologists Act (2013) according to Section 9, postgraduate training in clinical psychology or health psychology may only begin if the person has “proven psychological suitability on the basis of a clinical-psychological report (..)” from the training institution.   The costs for the clinical psychological aptitude assessment are to be paid privately and are tax deductible as business expenses/training costs.

Process:

  • anamnesis and exploratory interview

  • if necessary, psychological test examination

  • Duration: 1-2 units (50 min each)

Costs: € 200,- (private)
